Research Program
Our research aims to employ behavioral measures of cerebral function to elucidate the mechanisms leading to dementia in neurologic disease. Cognitive and psychiatric tests are administered to patients and healthy volunteers, providing metrics of, for example, intelligence, mental processing speed, memory, executive function, depression, and personality. The test results are frequently correlated with brain MRI and activities of daily living.
We are currently recruiting for two studies: C Coach and ATOPS. Participation is always compensated. Please complete the form if you are interested in either of these studies.
C Coach is an intervention-based study where you would use an app we developed while working with a supplementary coach. This work would be related to the goals and values of your daily life while only requiring one visit to our lab.
The ATOPS study would require two visits to our lab, within 2 weeks of each other, and each visit would consist of 45 minutes of cognitive testing.
