      UBMD Neurology is one of 16 medical practices in UBMD Physicians’ Group, the single largest medical group in Western New York. Our neurologists are certified by the American Board of Neurology and provide comprehensive neurological evaluation, diagnosis and management for adults and children with a wide variety of neurologic disorders. Our physicians are also faculty in the Department of Neurology at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, teaching the next generation of physicians.

      Our healthcare team includes Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners), Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, Front Desk Coordinators, Social Workers, and Research Personnel. Our administrative staff includes personnel in administration (including accounting, human resources and marketing/communications), credentialing, billing, and others.

      Career Opportunities

      FULL-TIME LPN

      UBMD Neurology is seeking one (1) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its Alzheimer’s Disease and Memory Disorders Center (ADMDC) in a busy outpatient clinic in downtown Buffalo at the Conventus Medical Office Building. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years experience in nursing, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting. Experience with infusions, Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience and triage/phone experience helpful. Candidates should also have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills required. Parking is paid for downtown location. NO NIGHTS AND NO WEEKENDS!

      The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works to help promote patient flow and perform tasks within the framework of nursing care. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, all clinical floor duties for providers and residents and facilitating efficient workflows throughout the clinic by maintaining excellent patient care and customer service under the supervision of the RN Nurse Manager.

      Pay range: $23-$26/hour. Full-time: 37.5 hours/week. Any offer of employment is contingent upon successful background check and drug screen. AA/EOE

      RN - INFUSION

      UBMD Neurology is seeking an RN for its busy infusion center at the outpatient clinic in downtown Buffalo at the Conventus Medical Office Builiding. The schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm.

      Duties include providing and coordinating patient care, educate patients about various neurological health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their families.

      Candidates must be a graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and have a current NYS Registered Nurse license. Minimum of three (3) years of previous nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting. Must have one (1) year infusion experience. One (1) year chemotherapy experience preferred. Current CPR Certification.

      Pay range: $68,250-$72,150 per year. Full-time: 37.5 hours/week. Any offer of employment is contingent upon successful background check and drug screen. AA/EOE

      ASSISTANT TRAINING PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR

      We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Training Program Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and management of various GME programs within our organization. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, and a passion for enhancing employee engagement and performance through effective training and development initiatives.

      Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring our programs meet Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and UB GME requirements, assisting in management of residency schedules and educational activities, and working with the Program Director and TPA to manage programs’ application including processing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with applicants.

      Candidates must have an Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience in an academic or administrative/coordinator setting or a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with 2 years of experience in an academic or administrative/coordinator setting.

      Pay range: $23-$27/hour. Full-time: 37.5 hours/week. Any offer of employment is contingent upon successful background check and drug screen. AA/EOE

        UBMD Neurology

        UBMD Neurology provides comprehensive neurological evaluation, diagnosis and management for adults and children with a wide variety of neurologic disorders. With locations in Buffalo and Williamsville, we offer a full range of procedural services including EEG, EMG, adult and child neuropsychologic testing, an infusion clinic for intravenous therapies and neuroimaging interpretation. We are closely allied to two Kaleida Health hospitals, Buffalo General Medical Center and Oishei Children's Hospital.
